Meet the Team

We are a family business, where family is the heart of everything we do!

Growing up in the pool together, our owners Becky & George have both certainly put in their swimming miles! From competing up to National standard and swimming before and after school they are certainly dedicated to the sport (and still are!). They understand what is needed to reach full potential, and the fundamental skills which base every swimmer’s pathway.

Of course, no swimmer can make it without a supportive parent, taxi and a number one fan! This was Dad, or as our Dolphins know him – Brian. Spending over 10 years as a “swim parent” to Becky, he decided he wanted to get more involved and became a swimming coach himself. Brian has taught and coached more swimmers than we can keep count of, all achieving amazing results and most importantly always smiling along the way!

We also have our Friend, who we call family – Anita! Taking a similar route to the sport as Brian, Anita is an amazing swim mum who trusted us with her budding Olympian. After trying various swim schools, Anita found us and booked her children into our lessons. Motivated and impressed by our structure and lesson plans, Anita trained up to become part of the team. She understands both the parent and coaching view of swimming, which makes her perfect for our Dolphin Family!

Our newest Dolphin Member, Megan, came to us as an experienced swimming teacher wanting to make a difference and teach smaller quality focused lessons. Megan also comes from a competitive swimming background and like Becky and George, knows what it takes to compete at a high standard.

Finally, we have our Trainee Dolphin – Amy! Having been coached by both Becky and Brian, there is no other place Amy wanted to be once hanging up her goggles. Amy was a very dedicated swimmer, achieving amazing results, and we are very happy she decided to come to Dolphin Academy to start her teaching.
